The core business was started in May of 2005, doing business
as "Mark Walther" (Mark Walther | Website Designs) in the State
of Illinois, DuPage County, City of Wheaton.
Company background in the Information Services
industry for over 19 years.
Our clients are mainly located in Cook and DuPage counties
of Illinois.
Since 2003, Mark Walther has had the honor of being the volunteer webmaster at
Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hinsdale, Illinois.
In 2008, our name was changed to "simplicity |
website designs" to reflect and promote our underlying design
principles.
Our "giving back" program started in 2008 to help those in need
and to support "life experience" causes and organizations.
Some of the design tools that we use include: Microsoft
Expression Web 3, Microsoft Expression Studio
3, Photoshop, Adobe Fireworks,
XARA X1, and
Coffeecup Software.
Also available to aid in the designs of a client's website:
scanner for documents and pictures, Nikon CoolPix P60 digital camera

Mark Walther has been in the Information Services industry for over 19 years with the same company since graduating college from Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois. Starting out as a VAX COBOL programmer (anyone out there remember the VAX?), Mark became involved with IBM Mainframe technology (yes, the mainframe is still around!), slowly moving to Microsoft Windows development environments such as Visual Basic, .NET, and SSIS.
Mark and his family reside in Wheaton, Illinois, a beautiful western suburb of the Chicago area.
Besides designing websites, Mark enjoy spending time with his family and friends, listening to music (Philip Glass, David Bowie, David Byrne, Maynard Ferguson, Herb Alpert, Mike Oldfield, Johnny Cash, Bach, Mozart, and many others), playing the trumpet, home improvement stuff, grilling "everything", being outdoors, and especially playing with his daughter.
